Meet 11 years old Ivan, first tenor in Yugoslavia’s youngest brass ban, and discover Mahala, the gypsy area of a village in Southern Serbia, an area which vibrates constantly to the sounds of its three brass bands. They set the pace of weddings, christenings, and funeral orations and take part in Guca’s brass band festival.
