A family secret is often a time bomb waiting to go off. Albert (Prévost) and Gédéon (Chesnais), friends since the revolutionary year of ‘68, have lived together in the same house ever since the disappearance of Albert’s wife some 30 years ago. Two men with wildly different personalities, they form a somewhat original ‘couple’. When Albert’s daughter, Claire (Godrèche), finally returns to the family home after two years of radio silence and a lot of heart ache, instead of recharging her batteries she is unwittingly plunged into the centre of a family secret. The unusual trio watch as the hidden past of the Flower Power era surges into the present provoked by the timely intervention of a seductive sleuth detective (Astier).
